Rüstempaşa mosque, which belongs to the General Directorate of Foundations, was registered with the decision of Kocaeli Cultural and Natural Heritage Preservation Regional Board, dated 17.03.2010, number 1365, in Yalova province, Central District, Rüstempaşa District, 1 map, 35 block 24 plot, off site.

Rüstempaşa Mosque is located in the city center of Yalova, in the district of Rüstempaşa with the same name. According to some accounts, it was made in the name of Rüstem Pasha, one of the grand viziers of Suleiman the Magnificent. However, due to earthquakes and natural causes at various times, its dome was destroyed and its surroundings were destroyed, but it was restored and restored. However, due to the damage it suffered from the earthquake in 1999, including its minaret, it was closed to worship and a new large mosque was built next to it.

It is in the center of Yalova, at the corner where İsmet Acar Street and Rüstempaşa Street intersect.

It is claimed that it was built by Rüstem Pasha (1500 - 1561), the Grand Vizier of Süleyman the Magnificent, as a mosque-han-hamam in the form of a kulliye. The date of construction is uncertain. Only the mosque and baths survived from the complex. The inn was used as a school during the Ottoman period, it was destroyed during the First World War, but was rebuilt as a school after the Republic. However, when it grew up, the school was demolished and a park was built instead.

While the bath is used with partial changes; When the mosque was not sufficient for the congregation, the Central Mosque was built right next to it, while a part of the Rüstempaşa Mosque was used as a prayer room for women, while another part was arranged as the selling place for the books of the Directorate of Religious Affairs.
